Hello,

According to Yojoe archive (http://www.yojoe.com/action/89/mutt2.shtml) the Slaughter's Marauders Mutt came with a Black "Duke" helmet (instead of Mutt particular V1 helmet).

I saw this auction stating Mutt is 100% complete : http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=271244748407&ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:CA:1123

This auction include what's look like to be V1 helmet. I also saw that the filecard was Canadian. So, my question is: In Canada, what helmet Mutt V2 came with?

a) Black "duke" helmet like what is showed in Yojoe (and US release)?
b) Black V1 Mutt helmet like what is showed in this eBay auction?

Thanks to all!

BHMike

People always assume the V1 Mutt helmet came with this version of him as well, but he came with the other one. I've had about 12 or more MOC Mutt figures in the past. All have come with the non-traditional helmet. The ebay seller is just wrong.

I have had 2 of them since I was a kid. Seller is incorrect. Black Duke helmets both and junkyard is one color.

Anyone ever notice this verison of Junkyard is made of different plastic? Both of my SM ones feel sticky to the touch now while my original 2-colour Junkyard isn't.

Seller is incorrect.

But the seller does state that the helmet IS from 1984 Mutt.

And knowing is half the hassle...
( the power of an "Edit/revise" button is the other half I suppose  :) )

He has updated auction... it wasn't the case at first. I contacted him to let him know.

You are right. The 1989 Junkyard has flexible legs while the 1984 Junkyard is more rigid. I can't comment on the colour since my 1984 one is pretty used  :-\ so I guess the colour just disappeared.

Yes, I knew that. I too did a similar thing as you when I notified an ebay seller who accidently included the word "Transformer" in a Gi joe listing  ::) . He thanked me and explained to me that he was using a template from one of his listings that had the word "Transformer" in it, and he forgot to remove it. Now you know (unless you knew that already  ;D )
