Yo ho ho
« on: March 20, 2009, 06:59:37 PM »

Im a new guy and am excited about checking out the convention. Just moved to hamilton but I used to go to Mikes store to buy joes before he closed down so that how I am aware of the site.

I am not super duper into the knowledge of the product but absolutley love the toys. They were my fave growing up and collecetd the comic book to find out more about the characters.  My first joe was in 83 and it was breaker. I thought his name was joe due to the package but soon realized it was breaker when all my other figures had the same name on the boxes.

My fave thing about Gi joes is when I discovered wrestiling and  using my gi joes as wrestlers and I even made up fake wrings of cardboard and elastics.  I bet tons of guys on here of done that too.  Anyways think the site is cool and am glad i lieve in hamilton now so the convention centre is like a ten minute drive instead of trucking from the falls.  Doug

Welcome aboard Doug. I had 7 customers with the name Doug that I can think of.

Boy, won't you hate it if we move the Convention to The Falls next year.
