Tomatoes....I wonder how many will bring them to the round table at the convention this year.  lol

Seriously, it's still to early to tell what Hasbro's motives are for the line down the road.  I just hope there is a contract stiil with TRU to make the 6 packs beyond the Winter Operations one.  Mastercollector will make the 3 3/4 exclusives unless interest takes a nose dive. So the potential of old school repaints is still there and with less to buy.  The potential of new sculps has taken a back seat. 2 months ago I would have said I won't miss them but wave 7 changed my mind.

NES?! the actual nes? You mean the good old first nintendo? With his 8 bit power? groovy :)

Back on topic though, I too think that the latest wave is promising. Interesting characters mix  so I'll have to get it.

Yup...I gotta to say action figures have taken a nose dive over the last few years. Just compare the sections of action figures to video games at Walmart, Zellars, the Bay, Sears, Target, or Fred Myer! Video game section 30 to 40 feet top to bottom...action figures...several pegs full...maybe 2 feet top to bottom...!! The odd kid might collect but the retail stores that play the market tell the tail...video games rule the day....!

They love the TMNT 2. The NES is on its last legs, but it has been for 10 years. Gotta love putting the kids on the classics. They also play lots of Adventure Island 2 and Super Mario Bros.

The reaction to Sigma 6 isn't nearly as negative as I thought it would be. I figure either a) we're all in denial b) we're all burnt out c) we all know the idea is going to tank and not particularly worried or d) relishing the opportunity to catch up on stuff we missed over the last couple years. (completists... I'm looking at you)

I just wish the Sigma 6 figures were better looking. So ugly....

I guess some were wishing that those figure would look like hose neat custom we often see on ebay. Tthe killing (hiatus if you prefer) of the big and small joes isn't a price I'm willing to pay to see a new cartoon and new figures..its to freakin high a price!!!

At the meet we should do a dio were all our joe self beat up one of those 8 inches goons :) yeah that would teach em not to mess with the o ring team!

Of course. I said past their twenties since most of us are in our twenties but some are younger some are a bit older.

Time sure flies by.
