For Sale or Trade / Have Mamba and Razorback
« on: January 05, 2009, 02:23:32 PM »
I have a mamba and a Razorback. The Mamba is complete and comes with the parts from another Mamba for parts just in case. The Razorback may be complete, but I really can't tell. I will send pics to anyone that's seriously interested.

I am willing to trade for figures, or just about anything... small. I just don't have the room for a purple helicopter and a big yellow tank thing in my display area.

The condition is that you have to be able to pick it up in guelph. I am not shipping these guys.

I am open to offers of trade for them for any figures. I kind of just need to free up the space.

Ontario / TRU has $5 Iron man and Hulk figures in flier.
« on: November 09, 2008, 01:29:22 PM »
Forget going to TRU though, they'll all be sold out. You can however go to Zellers or Walmart with the flier and get a price match.

I picked up the Hulkbuster 2 pack and the Iron Monger that flips open. The Hulkbusters are meh, but the Iron Monger totally rocks my socks. And for $5 he's a great deal.

Ontario / Absolutely Everything at the Big B Comics in Hamilton.
« on: November 08, 2008, 09:14:44 PM »
The good news is that they have every on of the new vehicles, comic packs and extreme condition packs released. The bad news is that they sell them at about 100% markup.

I pai(n)ed $31 for my Firebat, but I really wanted it (never had one).

Extreme conditions packs were awesome to look at, but I couldn't justify the $55.

Ontario / DVD sets 24.99 at Zellers Guelph

The title says everything. As of this morning there were at least 20 or so of them.

Have at em.

Also, the new comic packs seem to share a SKU with Transformers Flypaper, so they got rung up at ten and change rather than the usual 16$...

All that's missing out of the new case is the BAT. :shifty:

Ontario / Guelph Walmart Vehicles and Viper wave
« on: August 21, 2008, 11:11:50 PM »
Full case of the Viper wave, and all four vehicle packs as of tonight (thursday). All on American card. I pulled an Ethan and faced the aisle for them, the stuff was hidden all over the shelves.

Ontario / Who cleaned out my Zellers? ;-)
« on: August 07, 2008, 12:16:04 AM »
Wow - at Zellers Stone Rd. Guelph there were 4 vehicle packs, a wack of comic packs and a full case of the previous wave as late as Monday.

When I got back in the afternoon everything was gone except 2 comic packs...

Whoever hit that place hit it hard. ;-) Was it anyone from here?

Ontario / Hulk Joe hummer at Zellers
« on: May 07, 2008, 09:54:32 PM »
Yep they're there, and they have a lot of new tooling. I don't like them as much as the original, but they are still a pretty cool vehicle. They run about $26 bucks so I'm gonna wait for clearance, if I pick one up.

The bad news is that the figure 2 pack isn't in the Canadian assortment, it being I abomination and three hulks in different color shorts. I am hoping to see these guys in wave 2, because frankly it's silly to release a vehicle with no one to drive or ride in it.

The hulk figs are 12.99 so I figure the figures will run about the same.

Off Topic / Holy crap - the snow killed me.
« on: March 05, 2008, 05:47:10 PM »
Shoveling that ice covered mess in my driveway pretty much killed me outright. I am not even going to be able to move tomorrow. Every shovel full was 30 pounds, and even with my small driveway, I am completely wiped out.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to do in order to be able to continue to be mobile the day after a brutal snow removal?

General Joe Talk / You owe yourself a $10 Dragonhawk.
« on: January 03, 2008, 01:14:04 PM »
Ok, having waited for them to come down to $10, I was gratified to see them at the Giant Tiger for "my price".

Wow. This thing is freakin wicked. I have it on my filing cabinet at work intimidating the hell out of my co-workers. It's a piece of art. I have another that I am going to modify for 3 3/4, but the thing is just so beautiful, I will keep one unmodified.

The lines of the thing are so cool, and the overall look is so awesome that even if it's the only thing that you pick up in the sigma six line, get it.
