Vindication!  See, I told you guys it sucked  ;D  The author left a lot more stupid designs off of there (Pogo Ballistic Battle Ball?) but I'm proud Mole Pod was #1!

That, and not only is it stupid militarily, but it makes a pretty crappy toy as well.

Yeah well, they're basing these things on the toy and the package copy writing, rather than their movie portrayals.
The toy needs the missile launcher to maintain kid-appeal. It isn't the first time we've had a missile-launching drill on a toy and it is far from being the last.

Because, seriously, most Joe vehicles in one way or another have been stupid. A lot of them considerably more than the Mole Pod.

They easily missed one of the stupidest designs in the JOE arsenal.  The HAVOC!!!  I mean really, let's put the driver high up in an open seat with no protection.  Then of course the back up guys/gunners are in a cockpit/cabin that is surrounded by glass and they have to lay down to drive!!!

The writing of the article combined with the glaring lack of any research just shows how this article was nothing but a throw-away piece meant to fill space.

I don't know, I've watched the cartoon quite a bit and I've never seen anyone get hurt or killed while driving the havoc. Seems safe to me ;D

What about when Nemesis Enforcer ripped Snow Job out of the cockpit from the underside?

I stand corrected, but that's from the movie. I personally refuse to acknowledge knowing anything abut that. Cobra la BOO!!!
