No plans at the current time for a freebie like the Air Chariot. But we're still over a month and a half away, you never know what might be dropped in our laps.

Consider yourself corrected! ;-)

I think there was interest from him - assuming he would make a grand Crystal Ball army of Crystal Chariots - but ultimately they were put in a bin at the front table and given to kids that attended.

Yes, the hall is bigger - the entire location is bigger. Bigger hall, bigger parking lot, bigger hallway, bigger Q&A / Presentation room, more people in costume (confirmed), all bigger!

And yes, there will be more dealer tables than last year - still some available, and if I "have" to, I can put some in the hallway - but I'd rather not do that to be honest.

So, if anyone reading this is planning on getting a table, two or 3 for the Convention, BOOK IT NOW as there's always a rush for tables within the last few weeks before it, and the last two years I sold out and had to turn people away.

For those who may want to come by Coach bus, does the Hotel offer shuttle buses between the hotel and downtown Toronto?

I remember that when I went to 2008 convention by coach bus, I had to take public transportation to get to the hotel but then once the convention was over, the hotel offered me to take their shuttle bus that was going downtown, and that was very great of them.

No clue. If you're flying in, they have a shuttle that will pick you up from the airport.

My advice is to call the hotel in advance. Even if they don't, the Con Info package at http://www.canadianjoecon.com/2010-INFO.pdf lists the local transportation routes required to reach the hotel.

Great question!

Yes, two more guests were just confirmed to attend the convention in August.
I'll announce their names within a couple of days.

Here's a clue for all of you about one of the guests : "he voiced a character in the original cartoon". ;-)


edit: and before someone says it's Michael Bell  because he's a "friend" on Facebook, take a look at ALL the joe-voices and comic guys that the CanjoeCon account has friended both on Facebook and on twitter - The CanjoeCon account is a friend-whore and will add, or request to add almost anyone. ;-)

No clue as of yet.
