Title: The HISS Scout and Cycle Armour on the way to Zellers!
Post by: Stealth Viper on June 28, 2011, 02:13:49 PM: Just got word from Hasbro Canada that due to the fan outpouring and feedback on these units, Zellers has stepped up to the plate and ordered them!

That's right - The HISS Scout and Cycle Armour have left Hasbro's warehouses and are en route to a Zellers near you! Look for them to arrive within the next little while.

So, we said our piece, and Hasbro and Zellers listened. Now it's up to us to show them that it was a good decision by getting out there and buying this stock up!

Surely it'll be a better price than the "$30 for a figure and small vehicle" packs... right?

Which is exactly why they'll do okay in Canada, if the price is reasonable. There should be enough demand from our friends down south to fuel the demand from zellers at least for a little while. The ebay prices should come down and then demand will slow, but hopefully there will be enough to go around and not too many for Zellers to get stuck with a bunch after the initial frenzy.

I have zero interest in these vehicles, but great news for those that want them. :)

Maybe I can get Neo to paint the cycle armour for me to look like Scott Bernard from Robotech for me? ;D :o

I checked 4 different winners in Northern Calgary, but no luck. Perhaps next week.

There's a Superstore in my area that has a lot of TF minicons from ROTF/HFTD that were Target exclusive.

The only stuff my Zellers has is like The Rescue mission packs, which I'm not really a fan of, one of the vipers with the snake suit,a Rhino, and two Stormriders.

There were also two Star Wars boxed 2-packs (4LOM/Zuckuss and Camie/Fixer) which I thought were supposed to be exclusives?!

The price is steep, but that's only because some of us were spoiled by Winners, otherwise I think we'd all be paying for them at that price.

I found a HISS Scout at the oshawa Center and left it as I have it already from Winners. Then today i found these at the Bowmanville Zellers

Sure, I've done stupid things in my past but I've always know what I was doing was wrong and never tried to make excuses.

Besides, anyone willing to put that much effort into it has to be an adult, or at least can be described legally as an adult. Anyone will to steal a toy shouldn't be classified as an adult in my books.

Zellers raised the price of all there alphas to be $22.99 to be fair.

Post by: garling23 on August 18, 2011, 12:33:01 AM: got lucky today! took the family to the Peterborough Zoo today and on my way out of town i stopped at the Zellers at the Parkway, Finally found the Cycle Armour. they only had one along with 3 Hiss Scouts. I grabbed the cycle armour for my son and from a kids point of veiw on this thing, he thinks its pretty awesome (he should after spending all the time hunting for the thing). Never thought I would find it up there. It's a great design, just does not work all that well. 2 Hiss scouts left for anyone looking for them.

..on a second note i did check the Winners (same parking lot), and they had 2 hiss tanks and 2 wolf hounds. the his tanks were both the dark brownish version.
