had a great time as always! My son and I picked up some newer vehicles from Hal, and finally found a zombie viper. many other little things we needed were found aswell, all in all it was great to meet some new and old faces though trades and chats!

I've been wanting to find a Joe or Cobra T-Shirt for my daughter, you see, she also loves Gi joe. Her first vehicle is a Tiger CAT, and 3 figures: 2 Scarletts and Covergirl. She also has an Armadillo, but she always carries her Snowcat in her outdoor cart when we go out for a stroll around the block.

I was at old navy today (yes the clothing store) and found some cool joe shirts. they have a line called "The collectables" and have some cool superhero, starwars, beer, movies, etc t shirts. today I found a nice "Cobra Enemy" logo shirt. its a vintage black t shirt with the vintage cobra logo that would have been on the ARAH packaging from the 80's. Also in the boys dept they have the same line of shirts. found an awesome GI Joe shirt with the AWE striker on it (vintage packaging from the 80's aswell). sorry no pics at this time. bought one of each for my son and I. both are black aswell.

Ontario / 20% off All Action Figures at Zellers

not sure if its mentioned somewhere else here but Non liquidating zellers have a 20% off sale on action figures this week and it does include joes. I picked up renegades ss and a techno viper today for 7.99 EACH at the oshawa centre. and the other day (although i had to talk to customer service) i was able to grab a 30th Vamp aswell for 19.99. Looks like the zellers that are not in liquidation mode are still getting some new stock. was shocked to go in and find the stormy sitting there. looks like just the one case was put out, and likely today!

saw everything at the whitby tru. my son and i were excited to go and pick up a few of the figures. i was never impressed by the pics of the retaliation figs, but my son was wanting a rock figure and the new cc. once we had trhem in hand and looked at them I have to say they are pretty crappy in my opinion. colours, theme just looks horrible. almost looks like the 90's stuff from ARAH. the 3 packs look to be the best by far, and the new storm shadow looks good too. otherwise not impressed. my son was going to spend his allowance on 2 of the figures (he had been saving up for retaliation). he also was not happy with them... bought a lego video game for PS3 instead as they were on sale. I have to say that the ROC stuff was way better.

ya its crazy, the walmarts in durham and clarington put out the 30th stuff (one case) and they flew off the shelves. then it looks like the ordered more joes because they were a hit and they got in wave 5 by the boat load (2 or 3 cases) and they are peg warming nicely

Today I went to a Walmart. They had a bunch of 30th stuff. I grabbed a couple of Vipers since I don't have any with the red trim around the arms. Then I look at the price. It's still at $7.92. I took it to a price checker and it says "see an employee". So I go to the checkout, point out the sign and I know they have a rule that says they must sell it for the shown price. Also, they will give you up to $10.00 off your first purchase. So I got 2 Vipers for $7.92 total (plus taxes). So I found my own BOGO free deal and at the old rates.

pretty sure the markham toysrus has one. saw it a few weeks ago up on the top of the shelfs, not near the joe figs, but somewhere in that area. i thinkm it was on clearance for like $49 or something. I would call them before going to mke sure its still there.
