It's about time... I know Zellers has a big name in Canada, but the stores have fallen from grace long time ago.  I would totally support the store if they changed the name back to Towers and Bonimart!  So Welcome Target.

Can't answer for TF, but Toybiz's early toys still retain popularity with some collectors. You're making it sound as if collectors don't want them at all. My friend who collects vintage to newer stuff had some at the show, along with Kenner's super powers.

Seriously if you had a surgery and still have pain when you walk, that's a sign to stay home and take some rest. It is not worth to sacrifice your full recovery just to go out for the thrill of the Joe hunt. Your health might take a hit, especially if you don't recover well, and you won't know it until many years from now.

No, no. This isn't a "Ow it hurts to walk and I can barely handle the pain for that trip", it's more of a "I'm fine to go out but if I get TOO active it starts to hurt a little, I need to get back to resting up". The trip to Zellers was a calculated risk but I figured at least it's in a mall with lots of sofas so if it starts to hurt I can sit down till I feel better, and then go straight back home.

Plus, a trip out to St-Laurent requires public transit and since the surgery I've been feeling a little bit of motion sickness when I'm in cars... so shaky subway trains and crowded buses are kind of out of the question.

You sound rather in good shape for someone who could barely handle a trip to his local Walmart... or to the Toycon 

EDIT: But I could understand that it could be more a matter of priorities so I'll spit out that Timbit of yours I was eating and put it back into your  fridge :wink:.

Well, there's a difference between a long trip out to St-Laurent in crowded public transit and a brief trip to a store that's within walking distance of home. (Plus the Zellers isn't exactly far away from the Walmart, and it's the first day I made it that far)
