You were lucky to get the trooper. I'm sort of kicking myself for not ordering the wave 1 figures when they first came out in the US. I'm starting to think they will be skipped in Canada and now it's going to be hard to find them.

Hopefully Hasbro will get their act together and produce these in much greater quantities (including wave 1). I bought wave one on ebay (minus Flint) for just under $40 Canadian, shipped which is still cheaper than the Toys R Us price. Still, it was cool to find the one lonely peg there at TRU with the bunch of 25th figures it had.

Was at the Woodbridge store today. Picked up Buzzer and a Trooper. They didn't even scan in, they had to scan in some sigma figure and re-price to $9.99. Someone beat me to Beachhead and Lady Jaye though. I left behind a Serpentor and Storm Shadow if anyone is interested.

It figures they would show up after I bought them online. The crazy thing is that they're basically the same price when shipped from the states. It's hard to believe that Hasbro would price them so high in Canada. I wonder if they will ever ship to the point where they will be widely available. At this point it doesn't look that way.

In my ebay research so far I've found numerous sellers with very reasonable shipping. For a five figure wave shipping from pretty much anywhere in the US should not be more than $10. When you factor in buying five figures from say Silver Snail at $10.25 a piece ($8.99 +14% tax) the ebay prices look very good considering dollar parity.

Hmm...though their prices are fair, with the dollar where it is it's probably worth it just to buy them on ebay or those online American toy stores. For a few dollars more you can have them shipped to your house without worrying about missing one or two of them. Of course it takes all the fun out of the hunt, but when you can only hunt at one or two stores it's not all that fun anyway. With my luck, I will buy them all online only to see tons of them on the pegs at Toys R Us later in the year...

Hey guys, just for future reference, what was the going price of the singles at the snail? Should they receive the following waves, I'd like to know if it's worth looking into.

Ontario / Re: 25th Anniversary 5 Packs at Toys R Us

For those of you interested in shopping from Toys R Us, the five packs have finally been listed online. Though it says they are "temporarily unavailable" it may be worth checking back. As far as  I know the Toys R Us near my place never even received the 5 packs (unless they were sniped by employees out of the case) so it has been a pain trying to find them.

Are you guys talking about the 5 packs or the singles? Are the singles even available up here?
