Q1)What is the hole on Shadow Tracker's spear intended for?


Hasbro Answered:

A1) The spear has a hole on the side so it can be customized using the other weapons included with Shadow Tracker - the Long Knife and the 3-headed-mace.  This hole can also accept other weapons and accessories with the "small post/hole system" - they are sprinkled throughout the line.

Q2)Why were the plugs/ports on the weapons for the recent POC vehicles  ( VAMP, HISS etc) designed larger than previous vehicles like the RHINO and Night Ops Humvee ( the difference is just a millimeter or two)?

A2) There are two systems of posts/holes for weapons/vehicle customizing: the 3mm hole and the "large Hex Hole"  The 3mm hole fits most backpacks and a great many weapon posts and accessories (POC Duke Urban Assault is a good example of this Peg system).  The Large Hex Hole is a system we started a while back on the Rhino and have employed in a great many vehicles since (POC VAMP, HISS, ICE CUTTER, HISS SCOUT).  The old Rhino and Night OPs Humvee were actually before this peg/hole system got universalized, and the weapons could not be "tweaked" at the factory to fit.

Could you please point to a source where that statement is made because my reading of the news says its supposed to be a rolling strike, not a phased one.

Heard it from a postal employee. This also seems to confirm it (and says Hamilton, Ontario is the next city to join)

Postal workers in Hamilton, Ontario will be following their Winnipeg co-workers onto the picket line, as their union tries to increase pressure on continuing negotiations with Canada Post.

Rotating strike doesn't make much sense, as it won't add to the pressure. ADDING another city will.

I'm VERY leery of Target coming here now, because it seems to me that they are really just brining in a name swap, for the most part, and little else will change. I have to ask: what's the point?

The point is the sales $$$ will go in their pocket instead of HBCs. It also gives them a presence in Canada, so they can open Super Targets (new stores) where ever they like.

See, the taking over of some Zellers stores is only their foot in the door into Canada and is a means to an end. That end is building their empire here, much like they've done in the US.

An out of country company can't just walk into Canada and set up shop. They have to go through very expensive processes applying for permits, etc,etc - much like someone wanting to immigrate to Canada (only for businesses it is far more difficult) - and there's far more red tape. Takes DECADES to happen, IF it even gets approved.

The loophole is that if they acquire all of (or controlling interest in) an existing Canadian company - that gives them an already established precense in the country and therefore are good to go. Much like how someone from out of country marrying a Canadian will quickly make them (and their children) into Canadian citizens.

This is also how we ended up with Walmart. They bought Woolco, which was their gateway in to Canada. Target is doing the exact same thing.
