Movie accurate Roadblock, Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. Non articulated Flint and street-sled Firefly.

I picked up Wave 2 Roadblock and Snake Eyes at Wal-Mart this week. They are pretty solid figures with good articulation. Snake Eyes is a little skinny, but has some nice sculpted detail. I left Storm Shadow, Flint and Firefly. No troop builders, crappy articulation figures (Flint and Firefly) and the fact that much better versions of all these characters make this the weakest of the 5 Retaliation waves in my opinion.

I'm looking forward to wave 2.5. I already picked up most of it during a roadtrip to the States, but I would love to find a couple more Dark Ninjas, Alley Vipers and Joe Coltons (for customs). LJ is also pretty decent. Tron Ninja is a definite pass though.

Anyone seen the Kre-I Joe blindbags anywhere?  No sign of them at the Brossard TRU on Montreal's South Shore.
I also have the blindbags' ID codes, if anyone's interested.

Don't be shy... share them :-)

I'm back from TRU St-Bruno. They have everything! But, no Kre-o blind bags. I pick-up the Kre-o Checkpoint and the Ninja temple. They have all others, but I started with these.

If you're interested, I reviewed the ninja battle, Checkpoint, VAMP, and Platform sets on my blog.  I like what I see so far.

None at TRU St-Bruno, eh?  I guess I'll have to pay the Angrignon one a visit some time and see if they have 'em.

According to another toy forum, the codes are stamped somewhere on the bags and are a string of numbers.  The last two digits are the tells; they reveal with Kreon is inside.  So, I'll list the figures in order of their bags' last two digits:

-75 Alley Viper
-76 Ninja Viper
-77 Cobra Trooper
-78 Crimson Guard
-79 Dice
-80 Jinx
-81 Kamakura
-82 Quick Kick
-83 Rock N Roll
-84 Scarlett
-85 AT Commander, with Life-Like Hair and paradox accessory
-86 Torpedo

I can't confirm any of this myself, never having found them, but photos online seem to indicate that this information is accurate.  Good hunting!
