Joes on sale, at Rossy of all places
« on: August 27, 2009, 10:49:29 PM »

For those who haven't checked their Publi-Sac, 25th Joes are on sale at Rossy.
Figures are 5.99$, vehicles are 12.99$ and Combat Heroes are 4.99$
It might be for ROC figures too but the images in the flyer show the 25th Anniversary toys.

Of course, you need to be lucky enough to happen upon a Rossy with Joes in stock.
I'm hitting the two in my area tomorrow.
Fingers crossed.

I was at a Rossy today just to check out an older thread that Martin-Montreal had placed, and ta-da! I found them on special and the sale happened to start today! 25th Transformers Seaspray ( 80's style ), Brawn ( not sure which ), Starscream ( new cartoon version ) and Bumblebee ( 80's style ) too were dropped from 4.99$ to 2.99$. If anyone finds a COSMOS please let me know! The Classic Universe line were also 14.99$, now that's a steal.

I bought:

25th HISS tank with HISS driver for 12.99$
25th Matt Trakker for 5.99$
[s:295gv6j0]25th Seaspray for 2.99$[/s:295gv6j0] ***
25th Bumblebee for 2.99$
Transformers Universe Ratchet for 12.99$ ( regular price! )

Happy Hunting!

***EDIT: I made a mistake here. I meant 25th BeachComber for 2.99$

Woopee-do! I made a little mistake here. I did not mean Seaspray but Beachcomber. I guess I was typing too fast as I'm not big on transformer names. Sorry.

As for the Vamp, I can't tell for sure. I'm going back to the Rossy in Galleries Lachine today to pick up a 25th Bumblebee for a JoeCanuck fellow so I'll check that out for you.

Just got back from Rossy in Lachine. They are having a one day "we pay the taxes" sale in addition to the reduced price on 25th stuff. I got a HISS for 12.99 taxes in. Figures for 5.99 taxes in. It's a great sale.

I hit two Rossy's today (the one on Dollard in Lasalle and the one on Monk in Ville-?mard), they had a few late-wave figures (Airborne, Para-Viper, Cobra bazooka trooper, Eel, etc) and just the HISS and Armadillo/Chariot set. Nothing of interest for me since I'm much happier focusing on the new, modern and refreshing ROC/Resolute types of figures and vehicles.

I was quite happy to see the last wave of Transformers Universe Deluxes, though, as I'd never seen it at retail. Now I finally have that Hot Shot.

Too bad we didn't meet there today Scramble. I was there at around 5h30pm. Someone asked about VAMPS, I'M confirming there was none unfortunately at Galleries Lachine.

I also bought a HISS tank, I agree that 13$ tax in was totally worth it.

Bumping this up, they're doing the sale again.

This time, no sale on the vehicles (but at 14.99$ it's still cheaper than most places), just the 25th Anniversary figures (5.96$) and the Combat Heroes (4.96$).

Check yours, because mine restocked with late-2008 stock (MASS elements figures, Ripper, Python CG, etc) so I managed to get myself a Ninja-Viper. :)

I think this sale ended today....

That is if the sales usually start on Thursdays....it means a previous one ended the day before.

I'll go have a look tomorrow at Rossy in Lachine and cross my fingers I find at least something I want and that the special is still on.

I didn't see it advertised... I just wandered in and BAM. Sale. If it ended today, I really lucked out.
I love the Ninja-Viper.
