Front Page needs an update

I mean, it's the 1st thing people see when they come here... and the last update was April 15.

Kinda doesn't give a warm fuzzy feeling regarding the site.

Mind you, April - July is a rather long "dry spell" so my point is still a valid one.

Seriously, I know this site needs 'more' work and updates.
That's why I spent a GOOD portion of the past 3 or 4 days working on things.

While I do enjoy the message board at the opportunities a Canadian-majority site offers, I really don't pay attention to the front page anymore. I read the updates for the Con back in February, but since then it's straight to the board.

So the question is, what imfomation should the front page convey/what is its purpose?
