They forgot to put one year before the days because this thing comes out in 2007. There would have been an actual trailer 23 days before the release date.

Yep, the designs are pure ass, the toys are decent and from what I hear, the script focuses on Spike... or rather, Sam Witwicky and his quest to get the cheerleader to notice him, while giant robots fight in the background...

I'm not looking forward to this one at all.

I pretty much knew the movie was doomed from the moment Michael Bay was announced as director, though.

The second trailer has been out for over a month.  It still leaves me cold.  The robots are what should be selling this movie.  And I hardly saw enough.  Instead I see way to many humans and a love story developing (honestly, guys don't care about this).  But I am going to see the movie.  Peter Cullen is just Prime.  And Frank Welker as Megatron will be a bonus if he gets on board.  

As for the toys, you may have seen them on other boards

Honestly, I think they should pull  the old Takara engineers back out of retirement, to show these new guys how to design TFs.
I don't collect them, but i still have all my original G1s, and all the new ones look like cheap, brittle, POS. I guess thats what you
get from recycled becker's milk jugs now of days.
