I think my main focus will be the Retro line, with few exceptions here and there.

The Rattler looks really good, but 1/12 scale vehicle are too big for me. I got the VAMP and pre-ordered the Stinger because they are so iconic.

I can't wait to see what Super7 will do with o-ring over the classic CC, SE, ... I'm hoping for characters like Raven, a good Lady J (without cap), ...

Anyone still checking in?

What did you guys think of the SDCC reveals?

Did you preorder anything?

So?

What are everyone's thoughts on SDCC and the reveals?

I was a bit bummed by the price increase for the Rattler and the first tier was an absolute joke.   Patches are not a tier.   However I do like the offering, and of course I backed because I can't help myself.

For what was revealed otherwise....WOW!!   Raptor is pretty good, but I hate those turbine style wings.  Road Pig is AWESOME!!!!!   Lenny really went all out for him and it shows.   I don't get the people who are complaining about him being "thick" and not a body builder type.   That is a more realistic look for him in my opinion.

Love both 60th figure (Sniper, HALO Jumper).   Sniper is miles better than Shooter and the Halo Jumper shows us how Hit & Run could look.

The CLAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   WOW!!!!  Just WOW!!!!   It is so nice and huge, and has all the call backs to the original I was hoping for.  Can't wait for it to go up for preorder.

Zandar looks good, if a bit muted on the blues.  I would have prefered a light blue for his armour.  Leatherneck looks great, not sure about the five o'clock shadow, but whatever.   Starduster looks good and I like the nod to his origins with the mini cereal box included.   Only thing is I wish his blue was a bit more blue.  It seems a bit too grey.

Name only reveals were mostly great.  Retro Rock & Roll and Mindbender are great.  Law & Order is also great.  Heavy Duty and Retro Viper are okay.

Transformers Collaborative Sgt. Kup as the Triple T with O-ring Slaughter and Leatherneck are fantastic.  I know they were rumoured earlier in the year, but I'm glad to see it officially announced.   I love the Transformers X GI Joe Collaborative line.

Oh man the anticipation is growing.   SDCC is a less than a week away and the reveal of the Haslab (Rattler?), plus any new figures/vehicles.

Also the link is now up for the Walmart Collector Con NF Falcon and Quarrel 2-pack.   Of course it is showing out of stock right now, but should go live on the 24th.

Oh and I got my Gnawgahyde delivered today.   I was able to snag him during the price error on Walmart.ca ($35+tax).   He is a great figure in person, even better than I thought from the pics.

yup, this is why I stay with just old joes and the forums, and select videos from Youtube. Keeps the drama away.
I miss you FormBX257 and HCC788!

Wow. Sorry for coming back to this but i hadn't seen this before today and just felt like i needed to say something.
Dave was actually the one who pointed me towards Joe Canuck website back when Yojoe-the pit yahoo mailing group was still going on. I think his handle was Chef Morgardee if i recall.
I never met the man but i enjoyed his content here, he seemed like a pretty funny guy in his posts and i know he loved his son and wife deeply.  Was sad when he dropped off the forum and now I'm sad for his family. That must be incredibly tough for them.

I guess you never know when your time has come and i think i often never say the things I should have said a long time ago. Thanks Dave! Rest in peace.

Peace to all you guys who are still here. Thanks for keeping this place alive.

Same for me, I would be very interested but it would depend on time and place.  So little free time at this point.

Here's hoping you can make it work again.

Of course it is all dependent on time and location for me.   It's funny to think the last time you ran this I was in Toronto.  Now I'm in Ottawa so it will be much trickier to attend as either a vendor or attendee.   Plus I don't have anywhere near the Joe product I used to that I would be willing to sell.
