y'all think Hama would clear a day or two to make a trek over the border to come see us in Hamilton? I know the Meet gets bigger every year, it's hardly low profile anymore, but that would be a HUGE deal for JoeCanuck... I remember Pete said he was surprised that so many more people had shown up this year... but can ya imagine the spike in attendence for '08 because of him appearance? IF that is the announcement Mike's playing coy about, I hope he got a bigger place than the joint where the last meet was!

It's a tight rope to walk. On one hand it's great that people are looking our way, but on the other, if everyone else trys to offer their own local convention collectabiles, then these might start to bottom out as far as "high demand" items.
In the end I know that Joe Caunck is about the meet and not the toy, but not everyone will see it that way. I myself have ordered the "homefront hero" set from the MC club. So I've bought the toys without going to the offical Hasbro supported meet. Again, tight rope we walk.
Now back to ebay to see what Shiver is at right now. :wink:
