The Lava Pod (Mole Pod) that was at the end of Jason's comic.  Was that added in there becuase I have posted 1000 times asking for a Chrome Mole Pod? Have I gotten that request stuck in everybody's mind or was that a clue to the CJC vehicle that will be on the Con set?

Hey I said Lava Pod first... we are just used to calling it a Mole Pod.

Either way, I loved you comic!  I can't wait to read more. +1

Sorry, I got Mole Pod in my mind. And I'm thrilled you love the comic!

That's not a Mole Pod in the comic...it's the Lava Pod. There's a difference, the Lava Pod was a Canadian exclusive.

The 2011 comic will have about 32+ pages (19 pages already seen in the previous newsletters since last August, 4 pages featuring the ICE Queen in the Feb issue, and 10+ exclusive pages). This will have a more limited run compared to last year's 1000 print.

The hijacked HATE Tanks will be used when the time is right ie. combat on land when the Cobra threat is strong.

As to what Chacal Noir is doing with the Persuader... he sometimes like to keep busy with his own secret projects when Black Ice is not around.

i love Backstop's Black Ice punchbag!

who's the face on PK's snowboard?

i take it 'Witched' is supposed to be 'Wicked', isn't that the name of the Wizard of Oz spinoff thingy about the WWOTW?

The face is of PK. She has her own custom vanity snowboard. She'll be testing out the new snowboard in the next issue.
And yes, Witched is a play on Wicked as Sharkdays is to Sharkweek.

Here is his clip from the movie

A brief appearance in a SEQUEL to a movie based on an old popular tv series.
But I do enjoy the other possible guesses that could fit with these hints.

Here's several hints to the person who's inspired the way I draw him without the mask:

-He's Canadian
-in a group with an ironic name
-apparently made a brief appearance in a sequel to a movie based on an old popular tv series
-had his own show

Glad you guys like the image of the Xmas banner!

Are you thinking of Tom Green?

Haha, really?

I do have an idea of how he looks like behind the mask whenever I draw him. But I think his face will be obscured for a long while.

I really dig all these pages! I love the old school art. They are excellent examples of visual narratives. When I save up some extra money after Christmas shopping, I'll definitely pick up a volume soon!

well, Croc Master with his mask wasn't hard to spot. but i didn't actually notice Major Bludd and Ice Queen or Raptor. i was too busy reading the text and chuckling at the troopers wearing helmets and masks with their suits...

as for Fred... blonde guy in the red suit?

and is the big guy Bog Boa?

That's Fred!

The big guy is actually a character from my other comic series. And the blond guy with the gray suit is inspired by Ashley Schaeffer (google him).

Hey, I'm so glad you guys enjoyed the comic! Editor, Latinjoe, and Bandanov each have a great set of eyes to collectively find all the cameos. So to confirm, those are the Crimson Twins and ICE Queen, Major Bludd, Croc Master, Raptor, and even a Fred made a small cameo appearance at the Cobra North banquet scene. I forgot to note that the comic takes place in Mont Tremblant. I'll make sure to add that for next year's comic book.
