the month's toyfare magazine
« on: January 11, 2007, 10:18:49 PM »

hey, don't know how many of y'all buy toyfare on a regular basis, but the latest issue has a 20 page Joe section.  It kicks off with a rundown of all the Sigma Six figs (if you're into that) and follows it up with a price guide that covers everything from 12 inch to ARAH to convention exclusives to busts and more!  all that plus the regular toyfare info (with some sweet pics of the next wave of marvel legends) including a pretty funny twisted toyfare theatre....just thowing it down if you're interested.

Is it the same issue with a little write up about Pimp Daddy Destro?   There is some great stuff about PDD in that article.

Did they mention anything about ARAH's 25 anniversary?

When did Toyfare start with the higher grade pages? I never had a problem with the old grade. Seems like a waste of resources to me.

Paper quality   I'd assume.

I was talking paper quality. When I first picked it up I noticed the quality of the pages seemed higher. But yesterday when I was reading it rather than flipping through it, only a couple of pages felt thicker. Probably just a printing error.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did...aren't Diamond Select already doing a two-pack with the Skrull and Brood?

It was a cool issue...I've given up on Toyfare a bit, but this issue was pretty cool.  Some new Sigma 6 items shown, lots of love for the Real American Hero (it got lots of votes for favorite toylines/favorite playsets/best Christmas present, etc...).

What issue number is the current magazine?  I wouldn't mind picking up a copy.
