I know that there can be some legal issues over stuff but it would seem to me that yojoe is coming down on this ( and other things ) heavy handed.
Its become a lot less fun to go there any more.

Wow really? And yet they'll still allow repro stickers. The double standards that infest that place are why I've alwys had issues with their message boards. Unreal.
Anyway, glad to see the figure is doing so well. I'm watching it to see how high it might go myself.

As for the figure, Maple viper, it has nothing to do with Hasbro but YoJoe itself. As you can see they'll still allow certain "illegal" items, but only the ones that they deem not illegal enough. :roll:

OH! I've seen this one on ebay! It's been there for MONTHS, with a 100$ BIN, and labeled the "rarest Joe ever" (50 made)! That auction always gets a chuckle from me because he's just a slightly repainted v2 Surefire with a hat and some BBI guns. Even at only 50 made, that isn't really worth more than 15-20$, IMO; especially since I can just get a Sure Fire for something between two and five dollars, repaint him myself and get the exact same result.

Oh yes! The Black Ice figure is cool, but meeting all of you guys is an experience I'll never forget! In fact I hope to be able to return next year, and I'm already saving the cash to do so!
I was just pointing out that you can attend the meet for less than what Dryhawk paid for the figure alone. It's like how the "official" con where the attending and non-attending packages are the same price. The attending is a MUCH better return on investment!
