Title: PoC HISS Scout and Cycle Armour Found at WINNERS!
Post by: bandonov on July 06, 2011, 05:03:24 PM: That is right WINNERS has them for $9.99! The Winners at McCowan and 401 had 4 of each on shelf! It will most likely be distributed like the VAMPFury 2 cases per store. Get out Now and get them before they are gone!

I guess Hasbro Canada had to settle for the discount retail to get rid of the rest of the stock.

If that is the case then, then Winners will not have a restock on them at the stores so we should track the stores that were cleaned out.

Nope, at least not necessarily. POC planning was likely started in late 2009, and the molds for many of the POC figures were intended for a later ROC wave-so I've heard it said. Those later ROC wave ideas were quickly re-purposed into POC, with various items going in to waves at certain points in time. The 2009 stamp isn't unusual here. If it had been a 2008 or 2007 stamp, THEN you'd have a serious question for the Q&A.

I left a Hiss Attack Scout (the other cycle armour was already gone).

One set for Ebay, one set for trade fodder since Pete the Greek was nice enough to help me out already.

Cases are 2 of each item ( so 4 vehicles per case )

So if a Winners has had 4 sets out - it's likely not got anymore.

It shouldn't have taken them this long to stock them, as demonstrated by Winners, and now they are going to sit on stock because price and timing are poor. (Does anyone think they will be $10 at Zellers??)

I bought it for my son and let him crack it open when we got home. pretty impressive i must say. i didn't have high hopes for it at all... I guess i will be searching Zellers for the cycle armour as none of the winners out here iin the durham area seem o have gotten or put out either of them!
