Note to Hasbro: see the ball, take the ball, run with it!!!

I think if Hasbro had been REALLY savvy and switched-on they would have done this with the Zombie-Viper figure, making a random three-figure insert between any of the three. Would have made for some fun chase figures......but probably would have been hellish to try and collect all three regardless.

If it died, it would just come back from the dead. You know how it goes. Anyhoo you need to watch the Zack Snyder Dawn of the Dead remake.

While the gears in my head are going...

An alternate reality line of post-apocalyptic Joes would be amazing. Though probably too gritty for the kiddos. Maybe a couple 7-packs, a comic mini-series (4-6 issues) and that's it.

It worked for the X-Men and Age of Apocalypse.

Instead of having a Joe 7-pack and a Cobra 7-pack, have a Survivors 7-pack of assorted Joes/Cobras. Plus just for kicks, stuff the survivor pack with fan favourite b-squad guys like Doc, Shipwreck and maybe just one of the Crimson Twins and then do up the a-listers (and the other Crimson Twin) as zombies/mutants.

I'm happy with my army of 3 Zombies but if they made chase figures like Arrow suggested then I'd buy that. It would be nice if they gave us a few new heads as well.

Neat idea but it won't happen. I like the idea of one of the twins alive and the other a zombie. I'd like to suggest Dreadnok Monkeywrench alive as well. Why him? He would make a cool looking "survivor" figure and unlike most of the Dreadnoks he doesn't use close quarters weapons. He's be using his pitchfork looking gun and throwing some of the grenades he wears on his chest. Picking Zartan or Zandar to be alive would be too predictable.  That would make a good side story I think. Zombies invade Dreadnok's hangout, leave it down to Burn Out and Monkeywrench as the last 2 members and finally have Burn Out fall and Monkeywrench join up with a pocket of surviving Joes.

Shaun of the Dead was *awful*. The only good zombie movies are scary zombie movies. (and Zombieland - but those zombies were frickin' terrifying)

Yeah, I know. Though IDW has been dabbling in zombie crossovers for their various properties, so we might get the comic.

I liked both but my favorite part in Hot Fuzz was the tribute scene to "Shaun of the dead".

Now can you ask your mate for a nice signed 8 x 10 of Mr. Pegg for me? Please?  :D

While I enjoy my share of Zombie lore, I have to agree with those who think it is enough.

I like the idea of a Zombie Viper, and Jin does excellent work, but I think the "horror" genre and GI Joe, or Transformers for that matter, don't work well together.

I agree for the most part. This stuff slots really well into "alternate reality" stuff (a la Marvel Zombies)

It's still really fun tho.

As a guy who vies a lot of customs everyday, I'm so over zombie troopers. That isn't a knock against any of the customizers or the customs they've made. Most of them are really good. But for me personally, the idea is played out. Sticking Zombie Viper parts on a trooper isn't going to get my attention any more. I've been desensitized to them.

I like zombies.
I'd see a team of Joes trying to rescue survivors in a zombie infested area (town, island, lab, whatever), but in an alternate universe type of setting.

I know that the moral of most zombie movies is about everyday people surviving incredible odds, but I'd like to see a movie about spec ops soldiers and ninjas kicking and shooting the worms out of a horde.
