I got one...limited to 50 figures...??? Is that right?
-
What's a King Rat?
-
2005 Sacramento G.I.joe Show exclusive figure...I can find no other info on him...but he is pretty neat!
-
It's a Joe Canuck for Sac con. I think he's a take off of sure fire, and he had some customs weapons cast for him.
An ambitious custom project, but not an officially licensed product.

Any pics of this King Rat?
-
Isn't the figure basically Muskrat?
-
Raptor has it right. Basically it was custom figure (mostly Sure Fire parts) given away at the Sacramento toy meet. It was just a rip off idea taken from the joecanuck figure IMO.
The only thing I can find online in repect to this

I can't believe some people who think a custom figure (which cost 20 bucks at this meet) will increase in value. I hate to tell them about the joe canuck figure, in which there were only 20 figures made.
-
Jeez, that yojoe thread is ridiculous.
I guess then if i were to make 5 custom figures, card them and sell them at my toy show (that just happens to have some Joe sellers) as an exclusive made by some guy who talked to some old Hasbro employees at one point in time then it's going to be worth money, and lots of it?
Well, if that's the case, i'd best get cracking.
Sheesh.....

Yeah, and good luck to anyone trying to find a Joe Canuck. No JC owner will (or should) let that go off their hands.

The Joe Canck figure was agreed at the meet that it would not be sold. I am pretty sure about this.
And mine is still MIP lol.
-
I opened mine. He had many adventures with Crimson Crazylegs, Cloudburst and thumbless Airtight, but I can't remember where I put him.
-
Mine is still MIP, too. But lucky for me, I still have the prototype I play around with, including the rejected prototype I use for variety.
-
Mine is MIP, not parting with that guy.
And I think if I ever had to - can't imagine why I would unless I died or something, I think it would have to go back to Mike or Loop.

Mine is too - but I've opened it once or twice (it's tape guys!).
It was kinda understood that they wouldn't be sold - but the owner can do whatever they want with it.
Mind you, each one has that persons REAL name on it as well as their online name...... so it'd be kinda lame. ;-)
I hear that MOC version is worth quite a bit lately.
I got an email asking if I would sell it for $200.00 U.S. - and I don't even own it now. :-)

Well this figure is not bad...and I hope the hype brings his value up...which I think it will in time. This figure comes with a filecard...several accessories including a back pack that holds a cammo cloth that you can take out (if I were to open this guy from his sealed bag) and a figure stand!
I still wish I could have gotten a Joe Canuck figure...I was there in spirit anyways!!!!
Myabe one day I can swap this king Rat for a Gold Head Steel brigade???

Who owns it?
-
Yeah, I don't remember anyone actually claiming it, I left before it was offered up. It is in Canada right?
-
I don't think so. I believe he's sweating it out down in Texas.
-
Stupid lady can't mind her own damn business...
-
I thought either Navajo or Deadshot has it.
-
Ken owns it. (Navajo)
It's one of the few items that he hasn't (and won't) sell.
He gave his word to me that he won't sell it, and if he decides to get rid of it, it's coming back here to the store.
I trust Ken when he says that, so I know it's safe.

I still have my joe canuck fig.. standing next to the watch tower and an overflowing Canadiens mug full of pencils and pens.. and darts.. and a whole lotta other crap.
though he's armed with a set of painted spirit weapons from the acc packs
