What can I say about this guy? Nothing much really. After 1987 I didn't play very much with my Joes, I guess I was preparing myself for my collector's life. That being said, this custom was really fun to do. Getting the correct webgear was kind of a challenge, but overall I think it came out great.

your comments are more then welcome

In 1988 I turned 15 and I was more interested in girls than Joes. Still, I pretty much bought everything from that year... and the next four years :P

Lightfoot was never part of my missions and I found that beside the helmet he was pretty lame... and "yellow"!

I tried to stay close to the vintage version keeping the cool helmet, but switching to a one-hand sensor.

let me know what you think.

Back in 2012 when the Professor X came out, like many others I knew I wanted the body to make the suits version of Tomax and Xamot. So I had the bodies and the heads lying in my fodder bin for almost 3 years...

Finally here's the result. No big surprise. I know that a lot of people kept the body as is, all blue. The cartoon version had the grey pant with the yellow tie and a red flower and that's the way I did them

I wanted to do a Metal-Head custom for a long time, but couldn't find a head that fitted the character. So I tried to give a shot at sculpting the hair on a random duke head from ROC, I have so many of these ;-)

I tried to go stay true to the vintage figure, last week I found the gear and things fell into place.

So here's Metal-Head.

As a young Canadian born in the 70s, GI Joe was the only toy that I played with for many years. Funny thing, we had Canadian versions of the file cards "adapted" to have some characters born up North. For instance, on the Canadian file card, Grunt was born in Trois-Rivi?res, Quebec.

But, to my knowledge, Back-Stop is the only "official" Canadian born character.

Here's my version of that crazy canuck hockey player.

After Fast Draw, here's the last of the carded figure of '87. Sneek Peak was probably the only carded figures from that year that i never played with, he had this huge green periscope tower that was kind of silly carrying around. I tried here to give him a more "mobile" gear with the helmet cam and the drone. The colors are much darker, that light grey and bright red didn't really worked IMAO

your thoughts and feelings on this?

Not very active lately and life is moving so fast, but managed to find inspiration to create my own version of Fast Draw. He wasn't one of my favorite as a kid, but I think it turned out pretty good, what do you think?
