Off Topic / Transformers Movie...save your money....

Just saw the movie and it was BAAAAD!  Cheezy, slow moving, badly directed (Michael Bay has out-Pearl-Harboured himself) and laden with plot holes.  I won't go into any spoilers because I realize that you may want to go and see it for yourself.  I will say that the fx were kewl, but if I want to see a movie that coasts on fx rather than show a plot, I believe Spiderman 3 is still playing. Nice to see Jon Voight, Anthony Edwards, and a few other actors up on screen, but felt their performances could be better.  Too much humour...shlocky humour...and slow pacing.  Prime doesn't show for the first 40 minutes....Megatron, about a half hour after that....and don't even get me started about Jazz dancing.  Like I said, no spoilers.  I've said enough.  If you do see it, share your thoughts.

I have a bunch of shells that i wasn't going to bring, but after talkiing to condor knight yesterday, i'm thinking i might bring them.  Are there enough customizers coming that would want them?  (yes, i know Raptor...you can put your hand down...)  let me know and i'll even try to come up with a list of what i have.....

just wondering how many people are bringing stuff for trade, and what kind of stuff.  in the past, it's mostly been about the trading.  last year, we had a few dealers set up, and that number has jumped considerably this year.  there's a rule, and understandably so, that if you have not paid for a dealer table, then you are not allowed to sell at the meet.  i don't have enough stuff to justify a dealer table, but i'll have a whack of vehicle parts and accesories for trade plus some odds and ends (in addition to some stuff for the freebie table)  just curious as to what everyone else is bringing in.

I hit the Hamilton and Burlington shows quite often, as do some of you...just wondering if the London shows are any good.  I'm visiting my brother in law in St. Thomas this weekend, and talked the wife into swinging by the London Toy Show on Sunday.  Anyone know what I can expect?

not quite as in-depth as last month's issue, but there's a three page spread on GI Joe in the latest in honour of the 25th anniversary.  a couple of laughs, plus the regular coverage of hot new toys and of course, the twisted toyfare theatre that pokes fun at the lord of the riings and the bliues brothers....pick it up if you are so incliined.

i was the lucky recipent of a few back alley bounty hunter boxes, and after several months of sifting through them, i find myself with many parts and many shells.  (mike, i now, in a small way,  know the herculean task that you undertook so many times)  anyway, if anyone is looking for parts or shells for customs or whatnot, let me know, and i'll bring them to the joe meet in april.  some for trade, some for the freebie table, some for the hell of it, whatever!)  also, if anyone knows what to do with shells that no one wants (outside of the recycle bin) let me know.  thanks!
