I will be good and darned if I could find Tamia or any of the other brands of paints you guys were talking about.  I went to Hobby Lobby & Michael's both, so I ended up with some Testors Model Masters Acrylic.  We'll see how it works. 

I use Testors Model Masters Acrylic almost solely.  I found it to be the best of many I have tried.  I will only use Tamiya for those weird or rare colours (neons, etc.)

Most others have already given you some pretty great tips.  I actually found that "washing" your item with GOJO hand cleaner using a toothbrush cleans and roughens the surface for painting.  Just make sure to use a small, soft toothbrush, little dabs of GOJO and scrub gently.  Then use paper towel to clean off the excess.  It gives the figure surface a slight roughness (not noticeable) that helps the paint adhere without extra layers of primer.

They had 2 big boxes of "left side only" Sky Hawks.  However I, and others, rummaged through and I personally found 2 complete Sky Hawks for $5 (total).

So I'm hoping to add some guns.  Just asking as it isn't high priority right now.

Good score. When you say "left side only", did that mean they were missing the right wing?

What else did they have on the table?

Each one was bagged with all parts, mostly, except that the body parts were both left sides so they couldn't be put together.  I got lucky and found two that weren't, but I had to steal a seat from another bag to complete one that was missing the seat.

They had a ton of 12 inch stuff, but I missed the early stuff.  I saw the remains of a Dreadnok Stun and Cycle.  I only picked up two other things.  One was the feet and control panel for the JUMP in olive green.  Basically useless, but I am assuming that they had to mold them with the Jet Packs.  The other was a set of armor in silver and blue for the Nullifier from the AGP.  I picked up a few of those as  well for a dollar.  They will hopefully end up as custom 25th Nullifiers.

Hey guys, I am looking for 2 Sky Hawk guns.  The original 80s version, not the new 25th "Ghost Hawk"

I don't really have anything for trade, so if you have 1 or 2 let me know what you want for them.

Walmart at Eglinton/Pharmacy has restocked as well.  Looked like all the wave was still there.  I passed on more PIT Commandos since I bought a bunch at $5.  Now they are back at $9.44

I echo what LJ22 just wrote. I already got 3 boxes from Darren and I'm currently waiting for a 4th one.

Shipping takes a little bit longer than a usual trade, but all the packages finally arrived. I got a little issue, but nothing that can't be resolved.

Canprime, I think you did the right thing by sending him a PM, then by posting a message. But, I don't think you should worry. Give him a little more time and you should get your package as promised. I said the same thing to LJ22 before  :wink:

I think he is currently managing a lot of things in his life, but he is not a thief.

I understand what you guys are saying, and I can wait.  I don't want to cast aspersions, I'm just concerned how quickly he responded to get payment, but nothing since.
