They have been around for a while - but every time I see 10 Things I hate about the commandments I laugh out loud.

Currently on Toysrus.ca you can buy an Abomination Variant from the Onsalught wave - they have the other two but are currently sold out.

Here is the link http://http://www.toysrus.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&productId=95347&N=27+21026902+&nvalue=27

Sorry, I don't need to make room for some Bratz toys, at least not bad enough to unload my SW items.
The day I do, Mike, you will be the first to know.

I was just at Samko on Dufferin tonight, and the only thing I saw was Hiss IV's for $10.
No figures.
I only ended up picking up some stuff for my kids and zip for me.
I always hoped I would find a stash of figures that didn't make a big appearnce in Canada - like Joes and Hulk/X-Men classic figures.

Toy Companies are really strange - my prediciton is next year there will be a massive amount of Superman figures, YuGioh and DragonBall Z.

I did notice they had some Brat's playsets that work in the same scale as Joe, but since I am having a space problem as it is, I wasn't about to by more - extra surplus for Dio's

Was never able to find any of these ToyBiz two packs until today

I picked it up at Toys Etc - I hate buying from them unless it is seriously marked down.
They didn't have any of the Spiderman Vs. Absorbing Man, but I am doubting I will ever find that figure.

I just saw CamShaft and Mirage at Toysrus.  I also saw Camshaft at Zellers.

Toysrus had them for $29.99, I picked up the last Mirage they had, but it looked like they were just about to restock more.

I was thinking the same thing for the new Jug - his body could be used for any of the larger Marvel Characters.

Off Topic / Online store suggestions?
« on: November 09, 2006, 10:32:34 AM »
I check two of those first, but they don't carry the Mojo or Modok waves.
I would spend more $ if I could find them at a Canadian supplier but I haven't been able to yet.

And like other Lines that stopped shipping or only shipped some product to Canada, I stopped buying them.  Star Wars did this to me with their 8 billion US only exclusives, then Gi Joe.

I blame Hasbro for all of my woes when it comes to collecting.

So much for their thoughts on not having chase/varient figures.  Wizard just posted images from the next wave - I don't really care for the X3 movie figs, and it sucks that the build a figure is the blob I would rather the build a figure be more obscure, as I think the Blob would sell well on his own.

I am going to break down in the next week or two and put an order in for wave 14, and 15 of the marvel legends that Canada gets passed over on.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
The only ones that I know of  that carry the legends are
BigBadToyStore.com
&
ToyWiz.com

I am leaning towards BBTS as I have never really read anything about ToyWiz?  And the price difference is $61 Vs $79, but I would rather spend the extra $18 if I knew it was going to ensure a faster better transaction etc.

I welcome everyones thoughts.

General Joe Talk / favourite playset
« on: November 08, 2006, 02:25:53 PM »
I never had the flag/terrorDrome/Defiant when I was a kid - however now that I own the larger playsets the list goes like this

Defiant - three seperate vehciles in one
Flag - just for the massive amount of options - mainly cobra can attack the crap out of it!
Terror Drome - again for the same reason as the Flag but the joes attack it.
Original Headquarters - had this when I was a kid
Tactical Battle Platform - again had it when I was a kid.

The tactical platform is one of my top 5 - I love that thing, however you have to have some of the vehicles that go with it, it works best with the Whale.

I think I had the most fun with the Original Headquarters - however again you really needed the Mobat and the Vamp in order for this toy to really open up.
