Grrrr.  Why can't I find these figures?  I really don't want to drive to St. C. this weekend!

Ontario / Giant Tiger Power Team Elite Humvee

I love the PowerTeam Elite Humvee - it works great alongside the hasbro one - and way better than the BBI version - at a fraction of the price.
I picked mine up from Sears - it along with the F18 are in the WishBook.

However I have never seen the SWAT version - anyone have a link to a picture of it?

I have never been a big fan of Toys Toys Toys - they had the X-Men classics I have been looking for about 2 months ago - however I couldn't spend the $25 per figure they were asking.  I could buy them out of the US or on ebay for about $50 US - and I wasn't about to spend $125 Canadian.

But if they are the only ones that have my Abominalbe "Bumble" guess I will have to fork out the money, as I can't find any sites that I trust that have it.

This is the best image I could find of the figure with packaging.

it is from the Playing Mantis Toy Line / Memory Lane
Rudolph the red nosed reindeer 16" Abominable Snowman.
He is in scale with the 6" toyline - if I can find a link with a picture I will add it.

I can't seem to find it at any shop in the GTA - was just wondering if anyone else had any idea where I might look for this guy - before I go to US online stores.

Toysrus.com, and KBToys don't offer the figure so I would have to be looking at specialty shops in the US - and I am not thrilled about giving at my credit card number to a place I have no way of getting references on.

Thanks

I did, not that great - I picked up a Joe Fixit from the Hulk line and that was it - Way over priced on some of the stuff - and I now know where Samco is making their sales on the army builders - $8 - 15 for Bat/WideScope and IRon Grenader packs.

Again -  didn't see any joe stuff worth while.

The one near me sold out in about 2 days - they had this sale about 2 weeks ago, I just assumed it was old stock they were blowing out.

Checked some WalMarts in Mississauga this week (including one today) didn't see anything - and since wave 5 is already out in the US, and most of the stores have stocked up for Christmas I am really hoping these waves didn't pass us by.

That is great! - Now I just have to find a place that will have these, as I don't really want an entire case.

Off Topic / Marvel Legends 7 and Fantastic Four
« on: October 31, 2004, 06:30:30 PM »
Picked these up from BountyHunter on Saturday - WOW, Invisible Girl has 40 POA. I wish all of the female marvel characters could be redone using this body design - Elektra/Rogue/Pheonix was to fragile in the upper body, and the legs just didn't move properly.
Dr. Doom is great looking - the same as his other figure however (new head sculpt)
I like Things hands/fingers this time around, the bendy one were interesting but didn't really work.
Human torch is great - however his neck is a little funny, and he has limited head movement.
The let down is Mr. F -  I never folllowed any of the unlimited series, so the new head sclupt doesn't do anything for me - make him look smug and goofy.

Herbie is funny, but a waste of plastic, the same goes for Franklin - interesting that they gave him some ball jointed limbs.

As for the Series 7, Ghost Rider is clearly my fav - followed by Appoc.
Great sculpt - and an even better cycle - fire makes everything look better!

Wish Apocalypse had some inter-changeable arms, or a better base

However I was surprised by IronMan, I was expecting him to be the dog of the series, but I like him - the mold is the same as the first time around - however they have added to it in all the right spots.  And I don't mind the fact that his head isn't all the way exposed when he has his gear on - I would want some extra protection too, if I had a rocket strapped to my back.

Wolverine/Weapon X I find to be the lamo figure in thet set - I mean play value is in the toilet, how many times can you act out the injecting of adimantum (sp) - and from my memory the wolverine at that time frame didn't have any other marvel hero's/villians to fight.

The attention to detail on Hawk-Eye is great. Now I want Scarlet Witch and She-Hulk!

The downside to these new figures in my opinion, there wasn't enough wall mountable bases - I am running out of Shelf Space.
