New Vehciles in Canada?
« on: October 20, 2008, 08:21:02 AM »

Are any showing up? or does anyone know if they are going to show up?  Paying the shipping on vehicles sucks especially when I really only want them for the figure.

Specifically
Leatherneck and the AWE striker
Cobra Fang and Claw
FireBat
Deep Siz and the Shark

I have my fingers crossed that they will make it out before Christmas, so my wife will have something to actually get me...

This isn't an official statement, rather just my thoughts/speculation based on what I know:

As long as the Serpentor sets and HISS Tanks are sitting on shelves collecting dust, there will be no restock. Basically, when TRU or Walmart runs out, they place another order for the SKU #. If there is no more wave 1 stock, they will get wave 2. They don't order specific waves, rather just product based on the SKU.

makes sense... my local TRU has 4 Serpentor sets just sitting there... No Hisses though... I still haven't picked one up. Keep on passing on it for other stuff, but I dare say I will end up getting one for Christmas.

I really want a firebat, but I have no interest in the armadillo or another serpentor. This is going to be frustrating.

If they'd sent us nothing but shelves of trouble bubbles, they'd all be gone by now.

It should also be noted that this is how we miss waves completely. If wave 1 stagnates on shelves long enough, Wave 2 will have come and gone in the meantime, and by the time the stores re-order wave 3 is the production wave.

I fear missing waves as well.

There are quite a few Wave 1 vehicles sitting on store shelves in my area, and they've been there for awhile now.
I really question the decision to modify the assortment to ONLY include the HISS Tank and Armadillo Vs Air Chariot sets.  It's certainly not the only factor, but it doesn't help.

Hello all. I've been lurking for a couple weeks and had to pop in. Silver Snail is apparently getting all the vehicles in on Wednesday (as well as wave 10 single packs @ $8.99). They are listed in their storefront section which means they'll be getting a limited amount just in their store on Queen in Toronto (and maybe Ottawa). They won't be available to order through their website unless they list them on the main page. No word on their price point, but it's usually a few bucks over mass retail. I predict $25 each. Don't be too greedy, I want to grab a few things myself!

The Armadillos and HISSes are moving at my TRU.  Hoping they move fast enough for them to get some RAM and Trubble Bubble packs in.  I got a Rock N Roll on the way in the mail, and he's gonna want his wheels!
