AT-TE at winners
« on: April 07, 2009, 01:47:35 PM »

Not joe related, but I picked up an AT-TE for my sons birthday this weekend at Winners for $70.
It is the version with the clear plastic front and came with several figures.
General Kenobi, Grevious, 3 clone troopers and some battle droids.

Here is a photo of it.  http://www.rebelscum.com/2008/TCWATTEint.jpg

what was the costco price.  I let my membership slide as it was a pain in the but to get to one since we moved.

I believe the costco price originally was somewhere in the range of $130-$150, but I'm not 100% sure.

The winners that I go to never seems to have anything for very long.  I have learned several times, that if you see something you like, buy it as it won't be there the next time you go.
As for stuff on clearance I have never seen it happen.

I've seen it happen - always on the higher priced items.
FX lightsabers, Lego Batman Playsets, - it's happened here in Hamilton a few times.

I picked up an FX Lightsaber for $20.00 - marked down TWICE.

Some dude in teh states found two BMFs on clearance at a Wal-mart for like $18! Makes it hard to want to pay $100 even though that's half off already.

yeah, I feel the same way about the AT-TE'.. they were on clearance in Mississauga for $20 bucks, can't bring myself to pay $70.
