Well it jumped quite nicely.  It is now up to $355US.

So it looks like this set will stay in the $300+ price range.  As I have said before, I bet it will go for a good price close to Christmas.

I find it interesting that there were only 100 sets, but from what I have seen here and on Ebay I wuold say at least 10 sets are now either broken up or stickered.

out of all put up for auction, what's the most one has gone for?  i think the fact that they are so coveted by the people who were not at the con is a testament to the work that the Joe Canuck Team has put into them.

I think 1 or 2 went for near $700 early on when they started to show up on Ebay, but I'm not 100% sure.

the one i sold for my uncle went for $611 us, and cost $70 to ship to portugal.

Looks like they may have started the auction at too high a price.  That or the shipping quote is absolutely crazy ($81.20 for my location).

I don't know how this seller managed to get all of those, but this is his 3rd set!

He also sold sets #53 and #54 earlier this year.

I don't see the problem. For me if he wants to sell to make a little cash its his right to do so. His reasons are his own.

Having said that I'm not going to bid on something like that because $500 can be spent on way more stuff in the stores. I don't think I'd pay anymore then the original price you could get them at the convention for.

That's your perogative, but with this set you won't be buying it for original price.  Unless you have a time machine and go back to get it at the con.  That or someone feels really generous and sells it for that price.
