RoC Snake Eyes and other figures review
« on: May 11, 2009, 06:16:06 PM »

As posted on Joecustoms.com

Last Friday I received the upcoming RoC Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes mint on card.
Let's just say that he didn't stay in his bubble for long.

He comes with Timber, a G-36 (I think), a pistol, a knife and a very cool katana and sheat. Unlike any previous SE we've ever seen at retail, this one wears a nice trench coat.

What came as a surprise is that his mask is flat. No sculpted mouth or nose like we've seen on movie stills. Could he wear two kinds of mask in the movie?

The visor is very nice. Instead of being sculpted, its an add piece of acrylic which really creates the illusion that he's wearing a visor and not a metal piece in front of his face.

But enough with my words and on with the pictures

The review doesn't stop here because today I got some loose RoC figures which are very nice.

Paris Pursuit Storm Shadow

Hawk who sports a cool shoulder holster and gun belt

Stone who has the best bare arms/glove combo we've seen since the beginning of the 25A collection imo.

Breaker

I'm thrilled at the upcoming RoC figures and I can't wait to see them at retails. Let's hope they'll be as cool as these ones.

Stone's the one for me to get out of those, I reckon. I just can't abide figures with actor sculpts, at least when the actor is portraying a Joe. But damn, Hawk looks exactly like what he looks like. The quality of facial sculpts is even better than the Indy line, I am impresed.

Thanks for sharing, very interesting toys.

Thanks man.  A couple cool figures I'm going to look out for.  I may have to find Hawk on ebay because I'm not interested in the HQ play set.

Thanks for the photos. I'm really looking forward to seeing this Snake Eyes now, even more than I was before. I mean, I thought from the moment I saw him with that trenchcoat that he was going to be one insanely cool figure, but the blank design of the mask and visor really puts the icing on the cake, and I think this is going to be my default Snake Eyes. ;D

That's not the Hawk that comes with the Pit playset. He's got a black leather jacket.
