Another fine read gentlemen.  I do agree that the ROC figures are great - if just too many!

However, I have to disagree with one point.  Isn't there a ROC Beachhead coming up (and a rather nice looking one)?

Another great issue guys. Thanks.

Of note though, (not to rub it in either) the Target Deluxe Figures are $9.99 here in the US. Not sure why Target.com has them at $12.99, the highest I've heard them listed at in a store is $10.99.

I was going with MSRP - which is 12.99.

Target sells them at 9.99, but the msrp is 12.99

9.99 / 12.99 fact is we're still getting ripped off @ a reg of 29.99.   >:(

I really liked the Cobra Missile Command fan project article.  Used to have one of those when I was a wee kid, of course it fell apart and got trashed.

Without a doubt, I'm not buying any of those higher-than-Alpha-priced figure-and-small-vehicle packs.  Mega-pass.

I really don't see the point of that Beachhead mod.  No offence, but the metal t-shirt and raving pants look kinda silly.  The Beachhead that comes with the bike and Airborne looks great, though.

I did not know about that one - and agree that it is awesome.

However, I should have known about the repaint one that came with the Snarler cycle. Chalk it up to me not paying as much attention to the hobby anymore.

If you didn't like the custom, SEOP, hopefully you walked away with an appreciation of how easy it is to make modifications to the ROC figure forearms, heads and legs. A lot of people ar intimidated by trying to customize the 25th style bodies - i guess the point of the article was to show that it's not as difficult as it might initially look.

I do like the custom. One of my faves so far. ;-)

I wasn't trying to be a jerk, sorry if it came off that way.  Modifying Contemporary Joe bodies are intimidating...  I think it's the lack of backpack screw and the non-straight-forwardness of cracking a torso.

And I'm really looking forward to that hardcore PoC Beachhead!

Excellent issue.  Couple of quick comments:
The cobra missile command project article was excellent it was really neat to see how far some fans can take an idea and make it their own.

Review of the Dragonhawk was also good. Although I think scale still remains a problem with me.

Charles, thanks for your efforts in your customizing articles. I've really enjoyed them because I'm kinda chicken to to actually do anything to my own stuff.

Nice Monkeywrench custom Dave, although I feel if your going to do a classic style figure I want it to look as close to the original as possible. However if it's not possible close is good enough.

Review of the movie was good. I'll probably rent it sometime when the wife is gone for an evening.

I don't get the serpent armour, I'm still looking at it and I'm still thinking pass. I thought the same way back in the day so at least I know what I like.
Also BOO! on the price gouging. I could buy the  Ghost Hawk with Lift Ticket, Arctic HISS with Arctic Driver, Claw Glider with Stratoviper & Flak Cannon with Outback, Stinger Jeep with Stinger Commander for $60 US! probably close to $100 CDN with taxes, duty and shipping. I'd rather spend the extra $20 to get all that then spend $80 for the RHINO.

EE was good although it made me think of that Iraqi guy, who just as the Americans were stating to enter Baghdad was on tv saying everything was fine.  Don't know why but I guess to me I could see Cobra do something like that. "everyone back to work".

Great job all around.
