hydrafoil 2 broken guns $100  ::) Maybe 10-15 years ago he could've asked for these prices when Ebay wasn't that popular.

It's a good thing I paid mine 35$ and I found it already expensive enough.

Sorry, I believe the prices are WAY too steep.

Personally, I'd tell him to make his own account and post them himself. 'Cause dude, those prices are STILL out of whack.

Indeed. Or I would tell him to hold out until the hobby recovers some value. Nothing is really worth anything anymore, unless it was an exclusive somewhere.

The majority of his figures would go in the 3$-5$ range. Broken figures (save o ring) are just not worth anything (Looking at you broken thumb $30 duke). Your tan grunts and silver grand slams can be had for $20 or less right now so an incomplete Tripwire isn't going to command that kind of money.

Incomplete or broken vehicles are also not really worth anything, unless they are really hard to find, such as night force or sky patrol, and even then it's patchy. You'll likely find half of the vehicles that he has listed in the condition that he has listed them on the Free Table at the Canuck meet.

So I know that you are doing this for him because you are a stand up guy (and I will vouch for that) but he's not going to get any action on these.

Wow, I have to agree with the other guys, those prices are way too much, I only paid $40 for my 100% Complete WOLF (w/Ice Viper and filecard), and broken vehicles are worthless, unless he sells the parts, and even then he should use HJL for examples. E-Bay is a terrible place to base prices, I find most items are way overpriced, I haven't bought of E-Bay in over 2 years for that reason.

I'm interested in a few things.....

87 frostbite $3
quick kick $2 missing all ac
86 cobra hydra sled $6
torpedo $2 missing acc
jynx $2 missing acc

weapons transport $5
pogo $5
shark $8
bomb disposal $8
thunder machine $8
swampfire $7
ttt $8
dreadknoc cycle $8
air chariot $6

Looking at the original prices i highly doubt he would be interested in the prices i'll pay, but its worth a shot.

I was a bit confused by the "compared to ebay prices". The only prices worth comparing to are completed auctions. Sure tone of people are "trying" to get $30-40 for a triple T for example, except nobody is buying at that price.

He'll get more offers if he updates the listings.
If he notes drivers (are they complete?) and blueprints and drops the price to what he thinks is fair then he'll generate more buzz - people are scared off of making offers when their valuation is so different.
He wouldn't have to take the offers, but at least he'd have something to work with.
