Yeah, it's a very cool vehicule for the kids but that's about it! It's a big shelf warmer 'round here!

I forgot to mention in my review that the alternating flipping tread design works merely OK on carpet and not at all on a hard surface...so honestly it might NOT work that well on ice!

Honestly, with the bigass wheel on the back, this thing kind of reminds me of some kind of Marauder vehicle off of Red Faction: Guerilla or something.  I was pretty hard on it, and I guess comparing it to the Mole Pod was pretty harsh...but to me the combo of "meh" vehicle with crappy, give-up figure is just inexcusable.

Damn Martin, you mean with what seems like hundreds of versions of the AWE released (and especially with the new one out), you haven't picked one up for your son yet?
