Question about the foot pegs: Can they receive old ARAH figures? I ask this because I'm aware now that Hasbro moded the original Star Wars Episode 2 Battle arena playset to create this. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Yes, they do fit ARAH figures. I am certain of that.

Very interesting set.  I think it would make a better diorama than a base though.  This is based on the Star Wars Geonosis Battle Arena, it looks like.  I bet the spinning platform was for a lightsaber-weilding Jedi to slice the droids around him.  Same with the flip-up platforms; a Jedi could "use the force" and push away a pair of bad guys.

That is EXACTLY what it's based off of.  I'm unfamiliar with the original set, but according to YoJoe the Geonosis playset is exactly the one.

I love playsets but when I first saw this thing released way back when I was very disappointed. Pass, and looking at again after this review its still a pass (not because of the review though).
