Help ID some parts?
« on: May 24, 2011, 09:09:07 PM »

Hey all,
My lousy old camera took some lousy pictures of a lot I got recently.  But what the camera lacks in clarity and sharpness, it more than makes up for in lightening-fast battery consumption.

Anyway, here's a slightly better photo - hoping you might recognize some of them:

With a number beside each part... it would help  >:D

I think I can help with two:

1- Middle of the picture, right side, does it looks like the back cover of the 1985 Ferret?
2- Last part, bottom right, it looks like the Front cannon (in the middle of the boat) of the 1985 Hydrofoil...

... and middle of the picture, left side... I think this is the front bumper of the 1984 Stinger.  O0

The small item in the bottom left corner looks like the turret for a Marx landing craft. The Louis Marx toy company sold playsets, including WWII sets, that included 54mm plastic toy soldiers, vehicles and accessories. The U.S.-based company sold toys in both U.S. and Canada.

The red gas can is Tonka. It came with several of their sets during the 80's. The blue cover might be form the Ferret 4 wheeler. Just above the bottom center gun, turned upside down, is the lower center gun of the Cobra Hydrofoil.

DOn't think those wheels are ASP. The holes don't go all the way through on the ASP..?

The bumper IS Stinger and the cover IS Ferret. Nice.
