GI Joe in Lego... almost
« on: September 05, 2011, 06:29:22 PM »

After getting almost everything in Lego (StarWars, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. and even video game  ??? ) still no GI Joe in Lego.

I heard that Lego didn't want to be associated with military (StarWars anyone?). I found these wannabe GI Joe in wannabe Lego...  ;D

Are you forgetting about Built To Rule - those bricks never stayed together.  And the figures where made of very low grade plastic.

Built to rule...... I thought this was a great idea for kids but not for me. If I was 10 I would have been all over that.

Interesting, seems this is a sub-brand of Mega Bloks (who also do Halo, another military-themed license Lego refused).  Sears has a very good price considering the number of blocks per set, too.
