Just hope this not what they charge usually, like 25$ for two figures.

So now apparently they used a digital artist to try and copy the original card art from images provided.  Then the artist had to make the necessary changes to match up with the new figure.  This would explain the "unusual" quality of figures with no previous card art.

So let's see......

IF, and I do mean IF, the club is following the dimensions on the USPS website, and the box fits under the "small box" classification then the shipping options are extremely reasonable for Canadians. From a quick check on the USPS website here is what I was able to determine:

First Class - $13.74
Priority - $11.95 (if a small box, if not, then $27.95)
Express Post (only insured option) - $39.80

So if those prices hold true, then outside of having to insure your package, if you are willing to take the cheaper shipping option, it works out to about $6-$7 more per figure for shipping.  That's if you only get 1 subscription.  More than one and you will have to go with the expensive shipping.

Finally, it looks like all the emails, posts on facebook and their message boards has paid off:

Quote
y. For our Canadian customers, we offer three USPS
options: First Class International (up to 4 pounds) (no insurance/no signature), Priority
International (no insurance/no signature), or Express Mail (insurance and signature are included
with this option)

I have been asking them for a no insurance / no signature policy for years now. I have spoken directly with Brian Savage via direct email showing him the price difference between GIJCC and SmallJoes. It sound like we might have better pricing then $24.25 minimum per shipping item.

It might be time to open the wallet again.  ;) Time will tell once we see some prices.

I think I could live with 6-7 per figure, hopefully this will come to be.
