Finally... I was finally able to watch this before deciding if to own it on Dvd. Let's just say for now that Pacific Rim is still the worst movie of all Hollywood productions in my books. This one, had it not been for the first Joe movie that came to be, would've been better received by everyone IMHO. I really didn't mind the Joe "purge" at all. What bothered me the MOST was the choice of cast for the Blind Master. The Arashikage clan is supposed to be a Japanese clan, and its master is....a black guy? It felt out of place, that's all, much like that feeling that you're watching a movie were the universe feels sort of real, and then, big close-up on the Blind Master, and it's back to reality because the movie just lost some of its credibility all of a sudden. Other than that, I enjoyed it, and was rather happy that the other characters from the first movie were not mentionned nor seen in this one.
