Yep that is some bullshit pricing on DIRE Hawk.

I just got the call for my HAL from EBGames today.   Had to plunk down the cash for Slaughter & Triple T recently as well.  Oh and the Crimson SNAKE.   Jesus a bunch of big purchases.

So much stuff is getting released and combine that with the price increase and I am pretty much only sticking with Classified as something I will try and keep up with going forward.   Everything else will be cherry picking.

Oh and I will try and get as much as I can on sale.

Agreed, Flatline looks great, but with the current price increases and the massive amount of product just release. it is new characters like this, Rottclaw and Synapse that I am passing on - I just don't have a connection with them.

Gotta love the tidal wave of stuff that is releasing all at the same time.   I can see why people are canceling preorders and cutting back.   

Of course part of it is personal choice and I don't need to purchase as much as I have recently.   However it has been an expensive September and October.   

I have picked up the Triple T, Crimson SNAKE, Scarlett/T'Jbang, Legacy Special Forces, Zanya w/Chameleon, Hydro-Viper, Airtight, Dawn Moreno, Retro Grunt and Hooded CC (that was paid for in advance thankfully).   

That doesn't even count the upcoming Arctic HISS which is now showing up in Europe or the Thunder Machine.

I also picked up a couple of wants from other lines, but with the new price ($40) for a standard figure and the cost of everything going up I have cut back quite a bit.   Plus if the rumour turns out to be true that Hasbro is going up to $30US for standard figures soon, and especially so soon after going to $28US, then I can see collectors bailing in larger numbers than ever before.


On a more positive note I like the look of the new Dreadnok Flatline.   Lenny was obviously a big fan of the Dreadnoks and getting to create a brand new one from scratch let him go a bit crazy in a good way.   Overall I like the design except I wish there was an unmasked head.  Also the filecard is good in that wacky sort of way.

These look amazing,  and I agree with you that these feel like a "what if" ARAH universe.

I really enjoy Delta-17 and Operation Recall.  I also got the 4 o-ring astronauts from Space 1999.

From O:R I really like the Midnight Ops (Night Froce) subline. The desert subline is great too.

Damn there are some really cool looking figures in year two.

I am just glad I am so picky now about anything outside of Classified because otherwise I would be tempted.   Also helps I can't find them at "retail" as well.

I hope they kill it again because the designs are great and clearly some of them are "what could have been" in ARAH.

Yeah the amount of product coming out seemingly all at once is becoming a common problem every Sept/Oct.

I think Hasbro is going to find they can't keep going to the well like this, especially with how things are going worldwide right now.   Someone needs to get them to spread the wealth over the year, or reduce how much product they are making.

I got notice that my Hooded CC is ready for pick up (from DJC Collectibles).   Thankfully I paid for it upfront and don't have to worry about paying for it now.  However I know I have a couple things coming from EBGames that are probably going to all hit at once, not to mention I just got dinged for the MTO Marvel Legends Apocalypse and now I have to get ready for the MTO Thunder Machine to hit next month, followed by the MTO Arctic HISS which will probably hit before the end of the year.   

I am going to be selling at the Mississauga Collector Con on October 4th and I think I'll be trying to move a lot of my ML collection and only keep the really important (to me) stuff.   Maybe also some Transformers as well and just accept that I'm going to stick with Classified and make it my main focus going forward.   Saves me money and clears up some space.
