1 for 1 so far. Figure looks good.

Damn good. What's the body parts besides the Crimson Guard head, Bludd helmet? Who's body, arms and legs?
-
The rest of the parts are from the Avalanche mold.
-
Avalanche never looked so good. Helmet fits a bit off, but otherwise looks good. Especially as a Major Bludd trooper. I guess Bludd will be in his traditional colours.

Stole the words out of my mouth. The mold now looks respectable to watch. Now I must find an Avalanche and RIT Dye it for it's cool look.

When I first heard Skull Squad, I though oh no not another Range Viper redo-but I'm digging this fig.

You guys are indeed correct, the Avalanche mold has never looked better. Nothing to bitch about here.

this figure looks amazing! It will be astoundingly expensive, I assume?

Not really. It will cost more for people who get the box sets like me. But members that go to the convention also get a chance to get bag sets for $105 US. 15 figures in set means each figure will cost 7 bucks a piece. To put it in perspective, a DTC single figure costs 5.99 US. If I had a choice, I would take a MC figure over 90% of what Hasbro has put out over the last few years.

That is if you are only getting the bagged set Pete. The way I've always looked at it is $220 (boxed set) plus $105 (bagged set) is $325 divided by 30 makes the figures each cost $10.83 USD each. If you can find someone who is ordering the homefront hero set and doesn't want the bagged set, then there sometimes guys work out deals, but I've never thought it was fair for the guy buying the boxed set to pay more than twice as much as the other guy getting the bagged set. This is my personal opinion here, but I figure the box and it's file cards/paper work is worth maybe $20.00 USD, so that would mean one guy pays $172.50 and the other pays $152.50. I'm still waiting to set the rest of the figures as the pictures come out to decide if I want to get both boxed and bagged figures. If I don't want to army build that many. Once I knowthen I'll post here first to see if anyone wants to split a boxed/bagged set with me if I don't want to army build that many. Either that or ebay to recoup some of the cost.
Still, I buy a lot of figures on line and spend more than $10.83 USD per figure.

A special team for Major Bludd... now this is compelling.
