Well, Mike was cool enough to let me scoop up the awesome Black Ice figure, so I returned the favor by reviewing it on the site, and made sure to plug BHT and JoeCanuck throughout.
Check it out here (http://http://generalsjoes.com/reviews/2006/exclusives/blackice.html) and let me know what you guys think!

Black Ice took out Snake-Eyes, Stalkers, and the rest of the Artic Team? Except Mirage. Hey, ever notice you never seen Mirage and Black Ice in the same room at the same time? And they kinda dress alike...
Hawk, you're a boon to the collector community. I'm sure there are a hundred GI Joe fans that frequent your review board that would otherwise never catch wind of BHT, Joe Canuck, or the Canadian Meet. Black Ice is a bad ass figure, but as I learned producing my play last year (In Jim's Image (http://http://www.injimsimage.com), appearing again this June at the Montreal Fringe festival. See it before it's a major motion picture and I'm too busy and snobby to talk to the likes of all of you, except maybe Loop, whose talent I could use to further my own career) it doesn't matter how good something is: if no one sees it, it's good as nothing.
Thanks for the exposure.
Please see my play.

Black Ice ROCKS! Seriously, he's so cool, I'm excited about winter just so I can take some outdoor photos of him.
I can't wait to see what Mike and co. come up with for next year's meet!

Haven't had time to read the review yet but cool pictures. I should send you my picture of the repainted WOLF to post also.
But, I'll just post it here instead.

Oh damn, that Snow Wolf rocks! I was thinking of repainting a Polar Blast as Black Ice's personal chariot, but yours blows anything I had in mind away.

I think this image sums things up pretty well...

Both these ideas sound pretty cool, but if I could find this, it's what I would use (repainted, of course):

(Why didn't the image tags work for these?)

That's really awesome of you to review the can joe meet figure, GH! Thanks for giving Joecanuck some exposure on your site! I'm sure tons of Joe collectors frequent your site each day, and it's a great way for others who don't know about our site, to check it out and hopefully attend the next Can Joe meet.
Jon (JoeIndex), that Wolf looks perfect for Black Ice!

I thought he was going to review the beer at first
Good review on the figure as always.
Mike, any ideas for next year's figure so I can find/hoard the materials needed?

Sweet review Justin - thanks for the plugs.
I was away this weekend and got back about 30 mins ago.
Just found out about this now - sorta explains the influx of orders over the weekend! ;-)
I do have an idea for next years already.
Gotta 'finalize' it before I actually make a go of it.
Honestly, I should be posting info about it around X-Mas. ;-)
I wanna plan alot earlier for next years meet.
Mike
