Title: Wave 4 DTC confirmed it's not going to happen

I just renewed my membership with the Master Collector group and while talking with them I asked about my preorder for wave 4 DTC figures. Angie told me they've just found out from Hasbro the wave has been scratched. Take that for what you will but I think the MC group is a pretty reliable source.

Hasbro really gives me the impression that they really don't have a focus for a Joe Line anymore.
Sigma 6 is about as close as they are going to get.

Posted it on Joecustoms, I'll post it here. I just don't care. I was marginally interested in the Outback, and if they do a 25th A version of him, I'll be happier.

If they have to dump the retreads and reapints for good sculpted figures that everyone loves, I support it.

And the next ones, if any, that show up on ebay will fetch insane prices. 

I could care less about wave 4.  If it shows up, I will get it.  If not, I will not lose sleep over it.

No real loss if the wave doesn't ever come out. It's overhyped and most of the figures look cheesy anyway. I don't see what all the griping is about all of a sudden. Before people were trashing this wave, now they love it... go figure.

Correction: some people trashed it before, now the people who loved it are complaing that it's gone.

Please don't read "the collective" as a single entity that can't make up its mind. Different people with different opinions.

It's a general statement. If it doesn't apply to you it doesn't apply to you. I never said, nor meant to imply, that every collector under the sun did that.

I heard a rumour and just a rumour that they are going to integrate the wave four line into the 25th figs. with some modifications on sculpts and scrapping of the new female character for the Baroness among others.
