Man.
I am snowed under. I have a 1 and a half story drift/plowing buildup on my lawn, colapsing into my driveway with every stiff wind. I have 3 feet of snow against the doorway, so I have to leave out of the garage.
It got so bad, and so frikkin cold, that when the power went out last night, I turned off the water and fled to Toronto, staying with friends.
It's going to take me hours tonight to clear this mess. I hope that it at least gets a little warmer, so I don't have to die of frostbite while I'm doing it.

I feel your pain. We have had a metre of accumulated snow most of the winter. Some melts and then it snows more to catch up. I love friendly neighbours with snow blowers.
If it is as bad as it sounds you may want to invest in a roof rake. Too much weight on the roof is not good. Just have a shot of rum ready for after all the back breaking work to numb the pain.

My concern is when this all melts. That's a metric F*load of water that will want to get into my basement.

Man, its tough for you guys.
Meanwhile I'm all happy and jumping from buildup to buildup on every street corner.
I don't drive so I do have to walk, run and jump.
Keep yourselves warm people!

I'm gimped from shoveling snow. My back is so bad I am medicating. Missed work on a Friday, and I'm not even enjoying it...
