Title: What Is Your Most Favorite Cobra Figure

Hi just wanted to know what Cobra figure is your favorite. Mine is Cobra Commander V1 I love the look of him and I like the way his gun fits into his back.

Thats a good pick, I would go with Storm Shadow V1, not really for the figure but for the backpack that holds all his weapons.

I'd say Storm Shadow V1 too.
The figure is really cool and his backpack holds all his gear.
That and its the first GiJoe branded ninja figure.

I really like Cyber Viper...except I hated swamp viper dude to being a straight repaint of him. I also like Zanzibar for his fasinating look.

ok I like your the figures you all picked I still need to get another V1 storm shadow mine is a bit beat up I have is weapons still.

Here's another question what is your 2nd most favorite figuremine is the V1 cobra officer I have 4 of them now my plan is to get about 14 of them.

in order of importance:

1.  Snow Serpent v1...he wears a missle on his backback!

2.  Cobra (1982)...you gotta respect the classics!

3.  Firefly...with camo ninja jammies and a cell phone before they were kewl!

Hands-down, my favorite Cobra figure and overall toyline entry is the '89 Alley Viper v1.

Second place goes to the 2000 Lamprey figure.

My second choice would be Firefly v1. He's so cool.

My third choice would be the original viper. I just think they're neat.

So far it sounds like a tie between Storm Shadow and Alley Viper (both first versions). I can respect that.

My second favorite, don't know really off the top of my head. Just know I've always placed Alley Viper in the front middle of my display shelves. Headhunters are cool, so are Vipers as well as Storm Shadow.

I think a good question is who's your favorite Cobra Character. Doesn't have to be the mold but the character from the comics or cartoon. For characters I'd say Major Bludd. He never got sucked into the whole "Hey ninja's are cool, lets make him a ninja now" like they did to Firefly, Snake Eyes, Flint and Road Pig (!?!).

I'd also say the character I've made the most customs of is again Major Bludd.

I don't think I can narrow it done - it would probalby be a figure from the '85 series or maybe even 86.

After mulling about this for a little while I could only narrow it down to a handful of my faves.  I also found I have alot of fondness for the figures I had when I was a kid; I missed out on alot of the earlier classic figs so my selections are from what I played with.  In no order -

Alley Viper V1 - even tho the colors are whacked for his specialty I felt it was an awesome sculpt with kickass accessories.
IG Destro - Sure its not his iconic outfit but I always thought he looked more imposing in this form. 
Techno-Viper - I've only ever had one but he was tons of fun to play with; all those repair tools made for some nice interrogation tools while playing too ;)

Of course, I still love the original Firefly & CG as well - they just came into my collection later on.

To keep it with the ol' school trend:

Stormshadow v1 (as before, sick weapons and backpack)
Firefly v1 (even the figure exuded mystery!)
Destro v1 (cause I never had him when I was little - always jealous of my friend's!)
Ice Viper (I'm a sucker for ninja type gear - those Sais rocked!)

figure: '84 Scrap-Iron.  amazing accessories!  2nd: '84 Firefly...again, awesome accessories and sculpt.

character: '84 Storm-Shadow.  maybe ninjas became overhyped later on, but back in 1984 SS was THE COOLEST bad guy!  I mention the year because once he officially became a joe he was less cool.  2nd:  Destro.  I always liked how he wasn't "really" a Cobra but was closely involved because of the weapon sales and research potential of working with/for the organization.

I'd say my favourite figure is either the v1 Iron Grenadier, or the WORMS. I really dig the uniforms on either one. Then again, growing up my favourite figure was the Flak viper, though I'm not sure why. I actually got him from a friend, and since he had no cobra logo, I thought he was Joe.  :P
As for favourite character, I'd have to say Destro. I always thought he was way cooler the CC and should have been the leader of cobra....though that could just be cuz I'm Scottish too. :P
