I'm done building my 1986 vipers I have an army of 24 all with guns now I'm trying to build an army of Head Hunters and other Cobra forces.

20+ Cobrs Soldiers V1
and I went over board with the Cobra Soldiers 6 packs and have 100+ of them...the soldiers that is...

I have 9 Iron Grenadiers and 9 of the new CG's as elite troops. I went with 18 blueshirts, 18 night watch and 18 CSG's as regular troops. When I make a custom army builder, I try to do it in 9's.
I went the whole "9" yards and picked up a total of 27 Vipers mixing the 3 originals I had with a few TRU 6 packs.
I like the look of a 3X3 square of figures. It also looks good on the Ikea display shelves I use.
I love looking at the giant troop builder armies, but that kind of building isn't right for my own income and living space. I think that the numbers that I am working with are perfect for a reasonable sized dio.

But I think I have way too many of them for what I need. 15 v1 Vipers for 109? That is 7.26 a figure. Good deal. But man, the new Viper Pit sets have lowered the prices of the V1 Vipers. I got 20 of them for about 9 bucks a pop in December.

15 packs and kind of regretting it. I had no idea the V1 prices were going to drop that bad. I rather go after those as they have no druppy head syndrome and no fragile crotch problems to worry about.

I didn't pay that much as i got alot from clearance sales, online lots, samko toys (my favorite place) & from friends
I am never picky aobut the 'quality' or version. cause one has to have the soldiers taht are hurt right ;)
I have about
12 televipers
50+ bats
12 desert claws
15 crimson Guards
15 cobra vipers
27 vipers
24 alley vipers
25 cobra officers
6 Iron Gernaders
12 various polar troops
I plan on building dioarmas/cobra mountain to display my collection in our spare room. In total i have about 300 cobra soldiers (not including duplicates of 'individual characters')
I love my toys :D

But due to how cheap they were ($1-$2.00 each), I started army building Borgs.... then I started slowly customizing them so they didn't all look the exact same.
I had plans, glorious glorious plans for the 'other half' of my basement..... but it's spoken for now.
So any potential army ideas I had are on hold.

I army build, though I don't have a specific number of what I have. I try to limit them to primarily classic sculpt figures, though I do have a good deal of new sculpt. I also amry build Raptor. At last count, I've got atleast 50 or better, three gallon ziploc bags full.
