I did get input from a group of guys that I'll just call "The Timbits". They should know who they are. ;-) They helped with Black Ice last year as well.

They're limited to 30 - so that means you have a chance to get one if you attend.
But you're NOT guaranteed one.
No one (except Loop and myself) are guaranteed a figure.
....and if anyone has a problem with Loop or me being the only ones guaranteed to get one, then rethink where the figure and artwork came from. ;-)
My advice, the earlier you're there, the better chances you have to get one.
Doors open at 10:30am - NO EARLY BIRDS. ;-)

The man that you see in the banner was the original Joe Canuck. He was the original con figure - Crafted from nothing but sculpy, surplus Big bens, and love. Whole buckets of love.
As for customization - Mike is an accomplished customizer, though he does a lot of startrek and wrestling and only a little joe. I don't have any of his customs though, since they usually go for at least 3 figures on ebay.

Same as last year, one is being held back again.
The figure is a momento of the days events, and while I'd love to help out everyone that has emailed, PM'd, and posted about wanting one - I must be fair to those that are making the drive up, down, over, or flying to the Joe Meet.
With people from out East, Out West, the U.S. and Austrailia coming this year, I can only imagine (and shudder) at the thought of how many people would of liked me to just 'mail them' one out.
Not enough time, money, or patience for me to do that. ;-)
I'm thankful that so many people think this figure is great and wish to snag one - but the sad realiity is that not even everyone that shows up to the Joe Meet will be guaranteed one - pre-order or not.
I know this isn't the answer you (or many others) were looking for, but at least give me credit for being 100% honest and upfront with you all on it. I know some other places that don't even do 'that' much. ;-)
