Looking forward to my next level of Viper (in board status terms) it made me wonder why Frag-Viper ranks so low? I mean I would think it would take some training and skill to use their equipment effectively and stealthily. Is there a comic/cartoon/canon/historical reason why they're quasi-junk? Why be hatin'?
-
I think it is because they only have a slight bit more training than a regular viper, compared to environment training that say an Eel or Snow Serpent would require. And they wouldn't be specialized or as educated like Vehicle driver/mechanic would be.
I don't remember them specifically in the cartoon or the comic either.

See, I don't buy that... I'm a Hydro-Viper now and they're qualified Eels (http://http://www.yojoe.com/filecard/88/hydroviper.shtml)
And you're a Lamprey, ak, which is an Officer (http://http://www.yojoe.com/filecard/85/lamprey.shtml)...
So maybe I have this wrong in terms of Frag-Viper suckitude, even if it'll only be two up from Toxo-Viper...
At any rate this post at least puts me one step further away from being a slimey frogman

I guess, in terms of popularity, Frag Vipers don't score high.

I'm still waiting for someone to take a cylon head and slap it on a Viper body and call it the Frak-Viper.

I'd buy one.

I love BSG, so count me in to buying multiples.
