Wave 1 is out in the US and available through some on-line stores.

The release date for Wave 3 is listed at Feb '09

Wave 1 Combat Heroes is out in Canada?

I've seen them in comic shops.  Really REALLY want, but at $10 it's a tough sell.

How much are they in Zellers?

Don't bother, I went by to check today on the way to work.

The whole peg of joes was gone, along with all but 2 of the Galactic (star wars) and all but 3 of the Adventure (indy) heroes as well.

So I guess somebody likes them.

I have seen nothing nor any evidence suggesting G.I.JOE combat heroes were released in my area.

Now you guys have me thinking that I may have been hallucinating - but I remember picking one up and looking at it. I was completely unimpressed, and put it back on the peg.

Who's in wave 2? If 3 is out in the states already there must have been a wave 2.

Sounds like Guelph's the place to be for Joes! Brantford is the suck apparently...

Wave 2 is Flint/Baroness, Destro/Scarlett, Serpentor/Beachhead, Barbecue/Stormshadow.  I think they're coming in December

I haven't seen any waves in wide release, yet.  I hope that they come out everywhere, though...  I think they're pretty nifty.

Solid character choices, so far. I like what these lines let Hasbro do.

I bet that we'll have repaints by wave 5.

Hell, the entire Mighty Muggs line is repaints.
